Jessica Simmons is a middle school music educator in Monroe, Georgia. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in music education with an emphasis on instrumental performance from Reinhardt University. She is also an active clarinet performer, private instructor, and clinician.

Early in her career, she has received serval awards from her county including Outstanding New Teacher (2015). She is an active clinician throughout the state of Georgia and enjoys working both with large ensembles and private studios.

Having taught in several Title I schools, she believes that all students should receive a musical education, regardless of socioeconomic status. She strives to bring high expectations, innovated lessons, and music technology to all of her classrooms.


Ms. Simmons professional affiliations include the Georgia Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Education, and PAGE.

In her free time, Ms. Simmons enjoys running, hiking, and reading outdoors.
